This movie, for me I think had the most CGI effects. I wasn’t really impressed with the story, but I will talk about characters and the storyline, so Spoilers ahead.
So, since it has a lot of different places, like it starts in Cairo, Egypt where they talk about Thanos and how he always have 4 followers (like my instagram account) and they transfer his consiousness into another body with eternal life, and put his armor on. And then goes to somewhere in Russia (I think) where Magneto (Erik Lensherr) pretended he was called Henrik and worked at what looked like a metal factory. Erik used his powers to save a man from being crushed by a falling bucket (it was a big bucket) by lifting it at the last second and saving the man. Then it goes to a battle of mutants, where people bet on mutants fighting. Then, the next battle is Angel versus Nightcrawler. Mystique hidden as Jennifer Lawrence is watching the battle from afar, and no one really pesters J-Lo. Then, the battle ends and Nightcrawler wins, but then the place catches on fire, and Mystique grabs Nightcrawler’s arm and they teleport away (Nightcrawler did, Mystique was just accidentally with them… Then, it cuts away to Erik’s home, where he and his wife and daughter, Nina, lived. He decides they need to go away, but when he goes to Nina’s room, he can’t find her, and saw her being taken by the police. Then, the police asks if he’s Magneto, gives Nina back to the wife and takes Erik. (Of course this would happen… Every X-Men movie after Days of Future Past includes Magneto getting arresting either at the start or the end! Marvel, get better plotlines!)
Then, they find out that the daughter is a mutant, because she could control animals, and one policeman accidentally shot Nina’s back with a bow and arrow (no metal) and it penetrated her back and stabbed the mom in the back. Magneto was then so angry with remorse that he basically took her necklace and sliced about 8 or 9 of the policemen’s necks. Really, Magneto? He murders so many people before we hit the 15 minute mark!
Wow… Magneto. 👍 for you.
Aaanyyyyways, we then see him slowly seduce and power up Storm (gave her white hair), Psylocke (powered her up a bit..?), and Angel (metal wings) Then they go on to Magneto and don’t really do much for him.
